Casting my mind back to 2005, I had just enrolled for a post-graduate diploma in Education without a clear, concise or rather concrete vision of exactly where this tide will take me to. Yes, a diploma in Education will eventually land you in the teaching field. But the question was, if I was sure I actually wanted to end up in the classroom. Having graduated from the university since 1988 without a corporate employment, although happily married with five children, l was totally not financially independent and drifting, in fact, it was that feeling of dissatisfaction that informed my seeking for more certifications. Shortly after I enrolled for that program, Chinwe became my Life Coach.
She was not professionally certified then but she coached me.
Not only did she coach me, she saw much more in me than what I saw in myself. She saw an entrepreneur and a teacher with great teaching potentials that I even doubted I possessed.
She didn’t stop at the ‘seeing’ level, she also believed in me and asked me to become her children’s lesson teacher. Yes, I accepted the offer and she became my Coach and my Boss. She paid me satisfactorily and even insisted I invest that first payment into something worthwhile.
To the best of my knowledge, I did the job well which made her introduce me a few months later to some eminent families that paid me handsomely.
Chinwe’s children were my first “pupils.” Today, I have hundreds of them with three Schools in the City of Port Harcourt. (Crèche to Senior Secondary)
Chi is truly a life coach by nature. She is good and I am very excited that she finally converted this natural talent into a Profitable and fulfilling profession.
